C4K (Church For Kids) for Infants and Primary School aged kids occurs 10am Sunday every week at Kootingal Church. Children begin with the adults for songs and notices, and then after a kids’ talk and kids’ song, leave for C4K in the Vicarage. Youth (Year 6–12) remain in church until after the sermon, then leave for a chat about the sermon and how it applies to youth under the Gazebo.
Kootingal Kid’s Club occurs from 3.30–5.00pm every Thursday at St Andrew’s Church Kootingal for Infants and Primary Aged School Children (K – Year 5). Kootingal PS students are walked by adult leaders from the school, while other school students make their own way. A typical week includes games, afternoon tea, song and music, Bible story, memory verse, and craft. There is no cost, but children need parental permission to attend. Kootingal Moonbi Anglican Church is committed to the highest standards of care and safety in our programmes for children and youth. All adult staff and volunteers have a Working With Children Check as required by law, must have completed ‘Safe Ministry Training’ and have a refresher every 3 years, and complete a volunteers declaration. We have a Safe Ministry Representative who monitors our ministries and ensures our records and training are up to date.
