As a church family we want to grow closer to God and each other. So our Church Camp is Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October at Nundle.
We have a terrific speaker in Rick Lewers. On the Friday night, we’ll interview him and all have a chance to ask questions to learn how we can keep following Jesus all our days, share Jesus with others, wisdom for parenting and grandparenting.
On Saturday, Rick will speak from Romans 8. There will be two sessions in the morning and one after lunch. Then we’ll have free time with lots of ways to relax. On Saturday night, we’ll have a games night.
Then on Sunday, we’ll all go to Nundle Church and hear Rick’s last talk on Romans 8.
There’ll be a kid’s program for each session too.
There are different options for accommodation. Fossickers Tourist Park has no cabins left, they are all booked. Caravan and camping sites are all with power and are $42 per night plus $8 extra per child. A room at the pub Peel Inn is $134/night, Hills of Gold Motel $167/night, Riders Rest $120/night. You will need to organise accommodation for yourself. We don’t want accommodation to stop anyone and so please speak with me if none of those are possible for you.
The cost will be $30 for the whole weekend Friday to Sunday, that includes our speaker (and his travel and accommodation), the hall that we will meet in, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and morning tea on Sunday. If you are coming less than the whole weekend, it will be $20. Children under 12 are free.
